Proceq announces the appointment of Dr. Teddy Loeliger and Angela Qian, along with a plan for more hires to support their ambitious product roll-out strategy to transform the portable materials testing industry.

Schwerzenbach/Switzerland, April 10, 2017 – Proceq has announced the appointment of Dr. Teddy Loeliger as Co-Head of Technology at the Proceq Headquarters in Switzerland and Angela Qian as General Manager Proceq Asia based out of the company’s Singapore hub.

Dr. Teddy Loeliger has a strong track record in leading-edge technology development and innovation, as well as in the creation and leadership of interdisciplinary product design teams. A doctoral graduate of the Zurich-based Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Teddy has more than 20 years of experience in electronics and ASIC design. He has held positions as professor at HSR University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil and managing partner at Institute for Microelectronics and Embedded Systems in Switzerland.

An MBA holder from IMD Switzerland, Angela Qian has over 10 years’ experience of managing commercial and sales teams in business development and strategy within global top-tier companies in Singapore, Africa, Europe and China. Most recently, she held the position of Regional Head of Strategic Marketing for ANZ and SEA regions within the international construction industry tool and technology specialist, Hilti.

Last quarter, Proceq also announced three strategic appointments including that of Saira Rajan as Deputy CEO. Working closely with CEO Dr. Ralph Mennicke, her earlier work with Tectus Group and experience of working in Asia is being used to good advantage as the company’s focus on markets, sales and marketing is extended and driven forward.

Meanwhile, Proceq continues its search for talented engineers to complement the keenly focused in-house R&D teams which are working towards an aggressive roll-out schedule for new and exciting products.
