Proceq Introduces New Off-Road Upgrade for the Proceq GS8000 Lite GPR

Proceq, a Screening Eagle Technologies company, has announced the launch of a new off-road upgrade for its popular Proceq GS8000 Lite Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system. The upgrade directly addresses market demand for a robust off-road solution, empowering subsurface professionals to locate and mark underground utilties in the most challenging jobsites with ease and confidence.

The GS8000 Lite GPR, known for its portability and SFCW high-resolution imaging, is now even more versatile with the introduction of the new off-road kit. With new larger wheels, and upgraded lightweight frame at a new angle, the new kit enables users to focus on their field work without worrying about the terrain.

The key enhancements of the new off-road upgrade include:

  • Heavy-Duty Wheels: The new set of 37cm Øwheels and new wheel separation kit makes the GS8000 lite fit for off-road and high grass locations.

  • Simple & Stable Handlebar: A redesigned handle bar set at a new angle provides greater control and stability for better performance on rough terrain.

  • Lightweight frame and folding mechanism: The new folding frame is lighter and has a simple locking mechanism that can be assembled with just a few turns.

“Our mission is to ensure our customers can collect high-quality data anywhere, and that means evolving our equipment to their needs,” said Fernando Constantino, Senior Project Manager GPR at Proceq. “Now it’s possible to confidently choose the GS8000 Lite for even the most demanding, off-road locating and marking projects without compromising on its ease-of-use or its superior subsurface imaging capabilities.”

Availability

From December 1st, 2025, all new Proceq GS8000 Lite units will come with the off-road upgrade as standard. For current GS8000 users, the off-road accessory kit will be available soon.
