MI Roads a.s. joins the BBR Network as a new partner in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

We are proud to welcome MI Roads a.s., part of the Metrostac a.s. Group, as the newest expert member of the BBR Network.

Active in road transport infrastructure, MI Roads a.s. specialises in the construction of roads, motorways, and bridges, primarily for the Directorate of Roads and Motorways of the Czech Republic.

This partnership fully aligns with the BBR Build+ strategy, strengthening our commitment to high technical standards, upstream assistance from the design stage, and long-term asset performance. It is built on advanced BBR Build+ technologies, including fully encapsulated and electrically isolated post-tensioning systems (PL3) and specific nuclear qualifications, all included in the latest European Technical Assessments (ETA).

BBR post-tensioning advantages include minimal bursting reinforcement, the most compact system range, optimised material use, and the ability to stress at lower concrete strengths.

Through this partnership, BBR further strengthens its positioning in infrastructure, post-tensioning (PT), and nuclear-related projects, while creating future opportunities for technical development and geographical expansion within the wider Metrostac a.s. Group — a leading Czech construction group with more than 50 years of history, 27 companies, and approximately EUR 2.4 billion in annual revenue.
